Small Propane Cover - PC-1

This is our most popular granite cover rock for buried propane tanks.  The large round cover that is used to access the re-filling port is required to be above ground by most state fire codes.  The problem is, it does not look nice in our landscape.  Createk has come up with a solution.  Propane Cover Rocks.  They fit easily over the access port and allow the rock to disguise it making it invisible. They blend well into the landscape but yet, are easily lifted to allow for refilling of your buried propane tank by your delivery service.

Createk Stone's artificial rocks are made from a patented composite polymer suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and will last forever because of its unique composition. The rocks are not painted. The color is impregnated completely through and is colorfast.  They will not change with exposure to sunlight, water, or degrees of varying temperatures.  Unlike other artificial stone products, if chipped, Createk Stone will appear just like real chipped stone because the color is infused throughout the product..

Createk rocks are sprayed with a fiberglass shell on the inside to add additional strength & structural support. They are durable and lightweight but will not blow away with non-tornatic winds.

Createk Stone provides the apperance and longevity of natural stone, with out the weight or costs associated with it.  It is only 2.25 lbs per sqft and therefore, can easily installed & transported.  Additionally, our stones will not leach lime or display calcium buildup.  Moss & Lichen will adhere to the surface of the rock and will give it a centries old look.  If you prefer a cleaner looking surface, Createk Stone can be power washed without changing the color or contour, so it will never need to be repainted or touched up!

 Note:  We recommend telling your propane delivery service that you have put a faux stone over the propane access cover or your delivery man might not be able to find the tank to make the delivery.  I planted a beautiful rose garden over my 1000 gallon tank.  I used a gray PC-1 to cover my propane access cover and the delivery man (who had made many deliveries before) came when I was not home and could not find where to re-fill my tank.  The Service Manager had to come to my location to assist the driver to help locate the access cover.  After 1/2 hour they figured out that it would be better to call me to see where I "moved" the buried 1000 gallon propane tank to.  After I told them about the faux rock, they both had a good laugh (and felt very embarrassed).  Now each new employee gets "hazed" by having to locate my propane tank
