TJB-INC is now
offering Pond Plant Packages for our customers. Our
Plants are grow in several locations through out the USA.
They are available from April to October depending upon the local
temperature at the growers site.
Our Plant
Packages are shipped UPS 2nd Day Air so they arrive at your
location in good health. Our actual plant types shipped in
our Plant Packages will vary depending on
availability. Requests are welcome, but you won't be
disappointed!
To save shipping costs, most plants are shipped in
2" pots, bare-root rhizomes or tubers. You will need to use
your own pot & soil or purchase them on-line from us.
Many plants can be planted directly into the gravel sub-straight
used in most ponds today.
Floating Flower Beds - This one piece molded
container is Patent Pending and requires no maintenance or
assembly. No watering is necessary because the plant containers are
set on an angle 1/2 inch below the water line, allowing water to
enter and drain keeping the soil moist. And the air pocket under
the planter allows the soil to breath so root root fungus is not a
problem.
You can plant
any type of annuals, perennials, vegetables or water plants
that come in a 6" pot. The plant will self-water, and if they
are placed in a pond, self feeding. The roots will
absorb nutrients from the pond water for growth and will help
keep your water clearer.
If you place
the Floating Flower Bed in a swimming pool, you will have to add
plant fertilizer every month or so.
