TJB-INC TIPS:
This our choice of
black foam dispenser in our water feature construction division.
It is very reliable and allows for quick & easy
construction of waterfalls & streams. Remember to not
remove the foam can unless it is empty. When you remove a
foam can, you must use a cleaner can with a spray nozzle to remove
any residual foam from the can attachment area. If you
forget, when you put the new foam can on the gun, the left over
foam will cause the new foam can to adhere to the gun permanently.
You most likely have to purchase a new gun.
Remember to attach a cleaner can to the
foam gun after every 4 foam cans to clean the gun of foam.
Spray the cleaner through the gun until no more foam can be
seen. If you plan on leaving the can on the gun for longer
then 30 - 45 days, then you should remove the foam can and clean
the gun with cleaner as described above.
Following these instructions will allow
you to use your foam gun over and over again. If not, we have
additional foam guns in stock if you need to order a replacement.
We also recommend always having a clean back-up foam gun available
on site if your primary gun clogs so you can finish your project
with out any additional delays.
NOTE FROM SHOPTJB: For
proper flow of foam, the foam can temperature must be above 50
degrees. If you are planning to use the foam when the outside
temperatures are below 50 degrees, make sure to warm up the
cans/foam by using a car or truck heater or put cans in the sun to
warm up the foam. TJB-INC puts the foam cans on the dashboard
of the truck in the sun and we use the truck's defroster to keep
the cans warm when we are working in colder
weather.
