STA-1000 SYNTHETIC TURF ADHESIVE
-
STA-1000 is a two component thixotropic polyurethane
based adhesive specifically designed for Synthetic Turf
seaming.
- This is the
product used on most NFL synthetic fields so it has been tested by
the best and the roughest players.
- Our product
is available in 2 different sizes.

1 gallon
units: for seams up to 90' in
length.

5
gallons pails: for athletic field installation or up to
450 lin ft of seaming & can be used in most glue-box
applications.

answer all of your questions on athletic field installation and can
provide special on-site assistance with any field installation
(some times at no additional charge with purchase of the adhesive
and seam tape/binder fabric)
- Pot time is
maximum 30 minutes at 70 degrees (less if air
temps are higher)
- If air
temperatures are above 70 degrees, do not mix the product until you are ready
to use. If left too long in the can, the glue will start to
harden from the center of the can outwards.
- Green colored
so seam bleeds blend in easily
- Cures in 30
minutes or less (so work quick!)
- One gallon of
mixed product is enough to cover about 50 Feet of 12" wide seam
tape full width application or up to 90 Feet with partial width
application.
- Easier and
faster to use than all other glues with less mess.
- Once mixed
together, STA-1000 is single use and can not be re-sealed in
container & re-used later. (the chemical reaction between
the two parts make the compound very strong)

STA-1000 is an excellent adhesive when time is a factor
and you need quick but lasting adhesion.
TJB-INC INSTALLATION TIPS for 1 Gallon
Containers:
-
Part A come in a 3/4 filled gallon container.
Part
B is the hardener and comes in a pint
container.
-
Add Part B to Part A and stir to the
consistancy of smooth pudding. This will take about 5 minutes
of mixing.
-
Allow the mixed product to stand for 3-5 minutes
unless
outside air temperatures are above 70 degrees, then use
the mixed product right away. The higher the outside air
temperatures, the quicker the pot time.
-
As it heats up and starts to thicken, use a glue trowel
with 1/8" grooves to spread the mixed adhesive on to the seam
tape.
-
Then lay down your carpet/turf on to the seam tape
and apply pressure to make sure that the adhesive has come in
contact with the backing of the carpet/turf.
-
Adhesive will dry in less than 15 minutes so work quickly
and correctly.
-
Once the adhesive has cured, the bond will not come apart
so correct any mistakes before it cures!

Shipping Policy
- Q.What shipping methods do you
offer?
- A. We use USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex, Common Carrier &
Customer Pick-up.
- Depending upon the items ordered and where it is being
ship from, will
- determine the available shipping methods.
TJB-INC ships from
- warehouse locations in CA, CT, IL, GA, & NC.
- Q. What are the shipping
rates?
- A. Shipping rates are very different based on the
weight and size of the product
- you are ordering. You can find out what the shipping rates
will be for you order
- by typing clicking on the orange tab "Determine Shipping
& Sales Tax" on the
- bottom of the shopping cart after you have placed an item
into the shopping cart.
- The listed Real-Time Rate is based upon your "ship to"
address.

- Q. Are there items that require
special handling?
- A. Yes, some items are either too large or too
heavy to ship via UPS or USPS.
- In these cases, we use independent freight trucking
companies to ship these
- products. These products are noted as
Truck Ship
Only and may require
- increased shipping costs for services such as residential
delivery, lift gate on the
- truck, or phone ahead scheduling. Please select the
services you would like in
- the shipping section of the cart.
- Q. When will my package be
delivered?
- A. This depends on the shipping method you
selected. We strive to ship our
- products within 48 hours, however, many products will ship
on the same day
- if placed before 11:00 EST Mon -Fri. Orders being ship
via Common Carrier
- or Truck Freight will take from several days to up to 2
weeks depending upon
- the items ordered, location of shipper, weather, & time
of year. You can
- always use the tracking information we send you that will
better answer
- this question.
- Q. How do I track a
package?
- A. When your order ships, you will receive an
e-mail with a link to the
- tracking or Delivery Confirmation (USPS) information.
You may also sign in to
- your account and select "details" on the order history
screen. Note: USPS
- Parcel
Post shipments can not be tracked other methods. These
are
- shipped with a green & black "Delivery Confirmation" sticker that
will be
- scanned by your USPS Mail person upon delivery.
- Q. My package still hasn’t arrived.
What should I do?
- A. You should track your package to see the
scheduled delivery date. If there
- is a problem with the shipment, please contact the shipper
and provided them
- with the tracking information we sent you. Items sent
USPS are sent with
- Delivery Confirmation only and can only be tracked after
they have been
- scanned by your local USPS mail person. USPS does not
have the same
- tracking capabilities as UPS does. If you still
have problems, then contact us
- and we’ll try help you resolve the issues.
- Q. What if I want
to cancel my order?
- A. Since most orders are processed as quickly as
possible (most with-in
- 24-hrs), it will most likely be in-transist and we
can not
stop delivery. It will be
- your responsibility to refuse the
shipment when it arrives and it will be returned
- to TJB-INC at no additional shipping cost to you.
Once an order is submitted,
- it cannot be changed or altered. Also, when submitted, all
canceled orders will
- be subject a 20% cancellation fee regardless of how long
ago the order was
- submitted. If an order has been shipped (paid postage
label applied to shipping
- box), you will also be responsible for
the charged postage.
- Q. For items with free
shipping, does that include areas outside the
USA?
A. Items offered with "free shipping" apply only
to shipments made within the
- contiguous USA. Free shipping does NOT apply for orders to
Hawaii, Alaska,
- & Canada. Additional shipping will be added to
orders to these areas if
- necessary.
- Q. For orders shipped to Canada, what
about PST, GST, Duty & other taxes?
- A. No. The customer
receiving the order is responcible for all duties and
taxes
- charged by their country.
Return Policy
Upon receipt
of package you must inspect all items for damage. Also during
inspection, make sure you received all the items you ordered and
that everything is correct. If you fail to follow this, we will not
be able to file a claim. For all incorrectly sent items you must
contact us within 30 days from receipt. All Claims must be
filed within 30 days after receiving the item.
Returns
accepted on unused items within 30 days of receipt (when you receive
the product). You MUST
CALL to receive important return information
& get a RA # before returning a product. (If the return
procedure is not followed, your return will be refused as it
arrives and returned to you). There will be a 20% Restocking fee on
return orders.
If you ordered
the wrong sized product and are purchasing a different size of the
same item, then we will waive the 20% charge but you are
responsible for all shipping charges. Exceptions are:
any custom cut material (IE: Liner, Underlayment, and all
synthetic turf).
If item
originally had free shipping, the actual cost of shipping and the
20% restocking fee will be deducted from the credit to the
customer. Please allow 1-2 weeks for credits to be
processed. Shipping & Freight charges will not be reimbursed. Returns
made without following proper procedures will be charged a $5.00
fee or more for complications. If you return items to
TJB-INC it is your responsibility to provide tracking
and delivery confirmation. TJB-INC is not responsible for lost or
damaged product shipped by the customer to TJB-INC. If
we sent your item in a shipping container or box, please do the
same if you are returning the item. Packages wrapped just in
paper tend to get damaged in transit and will be refused and
returned to you.
The purchaser is responsible for making the correct purchase for
their application. Although our staff is highly trained, many
customers often leave out or forget important information regarding
their application hindering a proper recommendation.

Items that are FREE or included at no charge are NOT
warrantied through TJB-INC. Also if the item fails due to
its non-intended use TJB-INC is not responsible for warranty
for that item. TJB-INC reserves the right to deny any
warranty claims for a no charge, free, or mis-used
item.
