4/21/2015 – I'm a Project Manager for several hospital projects in Ca. Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach is one project which is asking for sustainable exterior landscape lighting.
Please advise me on the longevity of the RSC100 4" Circular Solar Brick lights. Also, these will be embedded in concrete and need to know how often they may need to be replaced?
Response From TJB-INC: Because there are no batteries to change, you basically install and leave alone. The manufacturer says 25 years + on lifespan. The units are sealed so if one fails or gets broken, just pull out fixture and replace with new one. We normally install by pouring the concrete and when dry, core cut out a 4" hole for the light. We use PL Adhesive to secure the fixture to the concrete.
6/17/2012 – recommended spacing between lights for flagstone front walkway?
Response From TJB-INC: It is more a personal preference. I like to start the walkway with 2 lights opposite each other and then every 5 feet alternate sides ending with 2 lights at the end of the walkway. If your measurements don't allow for 5', then what ever looks good between the 2 lights at either end.
9/9/2011 – I am a public artist and am currently working with the City of Albuquerque on a project where I have proposed embedding solar powered LED into a concrete sound wall...one of our questions: what can we do if one of these does malfunction and or is damaged in some way...even at a projection of 25 years...
Thank you!

Response From TJB-INC: I sent them to you direct. Did they work out for your design submitals?
