Automatic Pond Refill
From Steve Luko of Mwsa, Arizona on .
My pond scimming filter would fill up with leaves and debris. As filter became full it would clog up. The more clogged, the more it bulged out. When it bulged out, it pushed against the automatic refill float valve. This would cause the float valve to get stuck, thereby unable to shut off water supply, thereby, causing the pond to overflow and flood my yard. This specific float valve was long enough to extend past the bulge point of the filter, avoiding to get stuck. It remained operational and continued to operate effectively even despite the filter filling up bulging. In other words, it remained effective under all conditions and automatically shut the water supply, preventing the pond from overflowing.
Recommend Waterfill Float Valve
From David Sibel of Acton, Massachusetts on .
I've used this valve in the past with mixed results. It works fine and is easily adjustable. The downside is the point where the adjustment bolt is. If bumped often it can break there. Some skimmers have little room for any auto fill, especially one as long as this one. I have shortened the length by drilling through the float and pushing the rod to desired length. Any opening in the float itself has to be sealed with silicon.
The BEST Pond Floats
From Anonymous of Parker, Colorado on .
As a professional landscape and pond installers, we exclusively use these floats in all of our features. They are the easiest to adjust, and the build quality is much better than the all plastic floats. TJB always ships in a timely manner. Highly Recommended.
