7/25/2014 – Would this pump be sufficient for a small water pond already in existence that holds about 80 gallons of water? I have had the spray head for a while but it burned up so I am now looking to replace it with a waterfall possibly. Just wanted to know for sure that I get a pump that can handle it; the other was too small so it burned up!
Thank you
Sandra
Response From TJB-INC: Yes but only if the water is clean. This series of pumps will not do well with particulate matter in the water. I would not use it for any pond with fish in it. Only small fountains.
10/30/2012 – Can I get a pump with 12 ft. cord?
Response From TJB-INC: Sorry, we only have 6' cords on our statuary pump line.
5/13/2012 – I would like to install a pump in a birdbath approx 2 inches deep. What size pump would you recommend?
Response From TJB-INC: 75 gph statuary pump

3/25/2011 – I wish to install a water transfer pump , water supply is swimming pool, the copper tubes in the birds are 3/8" slightly cramped on the end one bird is approximately 65" the other 48" high. Need advice as to what size pump you might suggest I purchsse. The pump will be located approximately 8' from the birds.
Response From TJB-INC: 750 gph to 1500 gph depending upon how far you want the birds to spit. You can alway buy the larger pump and put a flow re stricter in line to dial back the pressure.
2/11/2011 – My statuary pump is on a timer and will turn on but not shut off...timed or manually...is there a switch in the pump that needs to be fixed? thank you for you help bryan sava
Response From TJB-INC: Wow, I have never heard of that before. If you cut off the power then the pump motor will shut off. Maybe you have a siphon situation going on. Check to see if the pump motor is still running or if the water is just being pulled through by suction.
9/11/2010 – I orderedd the 75gph statuary pump for my small outdoor fountain (needs to pump up a column of 2 feet) The pump is not giving me much height (only about 1 ft) did I order the wrong one?
Response From TJB-INC: You will need to upgrade to the 145 gph. You can return the 75 gph and switch to the 145 gph for an additional $10.00 plus shipping.
6/12/2010 – I need a pump with a detachable cord so that I can fit the power supply cord down a tube. Do any of these do this?
Response From TJB-INC: No. That would compermize the waterproof seal. You can cut the plug off and rewire with a new plug after you install the pump.
6/10/2010 – We have a 7x7ft waterwall in the back yard. We are trying to figure out which pump will sufficiently give us a steadly flow. Please help.
Response From TJB-INC: In order to answer correctly, I need to know how wide the waterfall is and the vertical height from the top of the waterfall to the top of the pond. ... TED
1/6/2010 – Sorry for constant questioning, but how much GHP should I get for 2 liters of liquid? 75 or 145? Also Can I turn it off whenever I need to or is it constantly running?
Response From TJB-INC: Hi Alex,
The 75 gph will be ok. The main concern on pumps is the height you want to pump the liquid to and the total flow needed at that height. The pumps we sell are all 120 volt and will need standard household current to operate.
BUT .......
These pumps need to be submerged in the liquid they are pumping. They do not have suction capability. They can only push fluid. If you poured the soda into a bucket and put the pump in the bucket, then the pump would work fine unless the bucket was too low and the output of the pipe was too high.
If you need a pump that can suck liquid through a pipe, you can look in the hardware section of your local home center. There is one that attaches on to a power drill that will suck fluid up through a hose and push it along.
What you are looking for is a small "fluid transfer pump". You can also tray a battery powered "Kerosene transfer pump". I use one of these to suck old gas out of gas tanks. As long as you have never used it for toxic fluids, you should be able to use it for soda.

1/6/2010 – How is it powered 9v battery, plug? Also after water or soda goes through the system is it safe to drink? I am trying to move soda from a 2 liter bottle into cups in a small soda fountain.

1/6/2010 – What does this do? Does it suck water out of one area and move it through a tube into another area
Response From TJB-INC: Yes. If you have a lower basin of water and you want to pump it up in elevation, (IE: small fountain) then this will do the job for you.
1/6/2010 – What exactly does this do? I am pretty sure that it sucks water out of one place and puts it somewhere else?
Response From TJB-INC: Yes. If you have a lower basin of water and you want to pump it up in elevation, (IE: small fountain) then this will do the job for you.
8/8/2009 – Hello, I need a small pump that is no taller than 2" x 2 1/2"W x 2 1/2"L. Our fountain is 3 foot tall and the pump has to fit in the base with a tube that goes up the center of the fountain.
Thank you
We had a Pontec 200GPH, but cannot find that brand
Response From TJB-INC: Sorry for the delay, we were on holiday.
Our 210 gph pump should be a good replacement for your Pontec 200.
6/11/2009 – I have a small pond with a small pump that has an impeller. this pump, pumps out an aerator and to a small tube that goes to the top of my waterfall. Any idea what type of pump i need to replace it.
Response From TJB-INC: Are there any marking on the pump? What is the size of the pump's output hole? How high is the waterfall from the pond's water level? How wide is the waterfall at the widest part?
With answers to these questions I can help you narrow down the size of pump needed. You can call me direct Mon - Fri at 203-287-0636 and we can discuss these questions.

4/27/2009 – I have a Peaktop Ltd submersible bird fountain pump and it has a rubber "stopper" to hold water in basin on the power cord--do you sell such a product? or can you direct me please?
Response From TJB-INC: Home depot, Lowes , Sears Hardware might have the groment your are looking for. If not, you can use GE Silicone II Kitchen & Bath to make a watertight seal.
4/9/2009 – I am looking for a submersible pump for a fountain that water is pumped up a 1/2" line 5 feet with good volume. Maybe an adjustable pump? This one shows only 4 ft. head.
Response From TJB-INC: You will need to mome into our Ultra Pumps to find one with an output that you are looking for. You can always put a ball valve in-line to restrict (adjust) the output of the pump for which ever size you purchase so that the flow is what you need. But in order to do this, you will need to purchase a pump that has more than enough flow at the height you require in order to restrict the flow down.
4/1/2009 – Does this water pump run on 110V AC current?
Response From TJB-INC: Yes. It has a plug on the end of the cord that plugs into any normal household electrical socket.
