If you do have a larger area that you would like to devoted to a putting green, it's a good idea to go with the larger roll, as it will reduce the amount of seaming you will have to implement.
Each putting green kit comes with three regulation cups, a 30 inch pole with a ball trap disk, and a colored flag.
