What Damage does foxes do?Foxes can cause a lot of damage to your lawn or garden. Some look for shelter and even move right in under your home or outbuildings.
What bait should I use for foxes?Fish, fresh or canned, honey or sugar covered vegetables, smoked fish, watermelon, sweet corn, cooked fatty meat, crisp bacon.
Where should I place fox traps?Place the trap as close to the fox entrance (hole) as possible. If there is more than one entrance, cover the remaining holes to force the fox to use the hole nearest the trap. This will allow you to place the trap directly in front of the opening which will allow you to capture the animal quickly.
lite trapping only From Robert Broyles of Jonesborough, Tennessee on 12/11/2014.
original price 309.69 (sale price 192.00), the product wasn't 3 hundred dollars sturdy. will work great for neighbors cat, but not for chewing animals (groundhog).SHOPTJB Response: : We do not recommend this trap at all for woodchucks/groundhogs. We would recommend a rigid trap probably a 608.2 which is 32x10x12 and 1x1 inch mesh (can’t get paws out to do any damage). Or a 608.2ss which is 36x10x12 and 1/2x1 mesh – much tighter mesh to keep them contained better. The rigid trap is also much sturdier than a collapsible.
