These covers make the green area more versatile by eliminating the hazards of an open cup hole. No more injuries from someone or a pet, stepping into a hole and twisting an ankle. Cover sits securely on the cup but there is actually a little clearancebetween the golf cup cover and the inside of the cup to keep the cover's side walls from binding inside thecup (upon removal) if sand or debris falls inside.
