I've owned other aluminum and non-aluminum ball shags, this is many times better than what I had anticipated; definitely a great purchase.
Shag tube

My husband has been wanting a shag tube for a long time but he didn't want a plastic one. Found this one online and seemed to be what he wanted. He likes it a lot but wishes it had a cap so that he could keep balls in it without them coming out. Otherwise seems to be very good quality.
last forever shag tube

My club has recently put in a new chip/pitch and bunker practice area. I took about 20 balls to the area in a plastic bag since I did not own any type of ball retriever. While there, another golfer came to the area and he had the Madewell Balshag. I immediately noticed the quality aluminum construction and inquired about the tube. He told me that his dad first used the tube many years ago and when he quit playing golf, he gave it to him. He said it was the best one he has ever used. I checked the internet and found the shag tube at TJB and purchased it. It securely holds about 22 balls and there is no bending at all while collecting balls. Since it is constructed from aluminum and stainless steel, it is virtually indestructible. Great shag tube.
