Cuts synthetic carpet from the top or bottom.
When the tool cuts from the carpet's backing, it eliminates damage to the surface yarns.
Metal springs on either side of cutter keep the carpet from raising up on the blade's edge.
Versatile and well-designed for long useful life.
Quick release blade holder for fast blade replacements
Uses standard slotted blades for top cutting
Uses standard utility blades for bottom cutting (1 included)
Built in front guide used to spread carpet tufts. Effectively spreads rows for less shearing of nap

TJB-INC INSTALLATION TIPS:

We use this tool to quickly cut the synthetic putting green / turf's edges.
TJB-INC sets the blade position to cut from the bottom instead of from the top. We have found this way does less damage to the surface fibers.
Use a forward motion only when cutting the carpet.
This tool will allow you to cut your custom edge contures with out having to lift up the carpet and cut from the back like you would with a carpet knife.
