I'd love to review it, but it still shows pending at the USPS. I called the company and was told sometimes the USPS doesn't scan the box until it arrives in the state it's going to. That's the first I've heard of that. Very life like, this alligator head actually scared me a few times, I bought this too detour geese, and birds from using my pool as a public toilet. It has worked quite well , and I would definitely recommend this product. .. What and excellent creative idea. Thank you." Owe" and a little reminder be sure you inform the little one's that there is a croc in the pool. "ha"ha".
Life-like and effective,

We live on the bay in southern New Jersey on a barrier island. We have a outdoor spa and pool that the terns and gulls have been making a mess of. We've tried other predator decoys (like owls and hawks) and noise makers that imitate predators. The results from these items have been less than optimal. Our pool guy saw our problem and recommended the alligator head decoy that some his other Shore customers have been using. He didn't know the make or manufacturer, but he said "look for the one with the bright red eyes." We found TJB Inc and ordered a 28" head for the pool and the 22" head for the spa. Since we have put them in the bird population has DECREASED BY 85% OR MORE. The only feature I need to improve on is the mobility of the head. The wind off the bay tends to push the head into a corner. I'm thinking of taking a length of fishing line with a mid-weight sinker to keep the head toward the middle of the pool but still allow it to move around. I think the realistic look of the head and its life-like floating motions are the features that have been chasing the sea birds. This is a great product. I will recommend it to all my friends at the Shore who have pools and spas.
Floating alligator head

We bought this floating life size alligator head for our koi pond. It is exactly as advertised and extremely realistic. We have raccoon, coyote and birds attracted to the sound of the waterfall and needed this natural deterrent. My grandson literally jumped when he saw it in among the lily pads.

We purchased our "gator" head when our pool man suggested it would help keep ducks out of our swimming pool. Well, that worked well, so then we transferred him to our lake dock where the ducks were making our dock a literal "poop deck/dock." Having him floating around the dock has definitely helped keep those pesty and messy ducks at bay. They weren't quite sure what to make of him, but our dock is definitely staying cleaner!
Very Realistic

This alligator head is very realistic and as it floats in the pond it actually looks like a real 'gator' swimming slowly. You do need to tie a small weight to the bottom of it (hook provided) to keep it from "bobbing". I am very happy with this!

I bought my 28" alligator head for fun. I have a summer cottage on a relatively small lake with about 300 homes total. It's common for people to "stroll" lazily around the lake in pontoon boats. My alligator is half under the end of my dock. I'm in a "no wake" zone and people must slow down when passing. It's especially fun to hear people tell their kids "hey look at the alligator". I've even seen people back up to get a better look. In the evening when the setting sun is just right, the reflective eyes give Mr. Gator a very creepy look. I love it.
Keeps many birds away

This decoy looks very realistic. It worked well for me (weigh it down in pool so it floats around). The trick is that the birds you want to repel must recognize gators as preditors, then it works well.
Fantastic!!! No Ducks! For Herons, you need to read this.,
From

The product is excellent, it is so realistic my friend who is the General Curator of the local zoo from a distance took a double take. She is used to seeing strange things in our yard. We have had no ducks on the pond since we put the alligator decoy in the Koi pond. However we have had a pesky tri-colored heron which seems to ignore the gator. When I told the curator about this she said put the words "Heron, Alligator, relationship" into your search engine. Yes, if you read, you will find that Herons and alligators have a specific relationship and herons will seek out alligators to find a place to roost. It seems that if the gators keep the racoons and other predators out of their nests, the gators can have the chicks that fall into the water. I was told that if I went to the local zoo, I would find that most of the heron rookeries are located above the alligators. Now this alligator decoy has eliminated the ducks and I am hoping the geese as they come South. It is awesome and I love the effect on visitors and my grandkids. Even my wolf and wolf hybrid stopped, looked and gave it a wide berth. I intend to replace it when it is old and have never had so much fun for the money. Oh, I was told that there are other symbiotic relationships in the animal world, so do some research before you buy.

We have been very pleased with our 28" Alligator Head. We have not had any Canada Geese land since we put him in the pond. We have had a Blue Heron land a couple of times, but it stands back from the water's edge and looks for awhile and then flies away (no fishing). We have on suggestion. That is: to include a few instructions for anchoring it along with the head. We were puzzeled at first.

He's a very realistic looking gator, enough so that he scared my 23 year old son. We named him Fred. It gives my fish another place to hide and get out of the sun. Hopefully, the herons and raccoons will think he's real and leave the fish alone.

We put the alligator in the pool today and within a couple of hours had three ducks swimming around it which was very disappointing. Considering the shipping cost us about nine dollars, the whole thing was an expensive waste of time and I'm going to try to get my money back.
So far no heron!
From

I ordered the gator to deter herons. We had a very persistent heron for the first time in 10 years. He ate two large koi and some goldfish. I really wanted to protect the rest. So far he hasn't come back. He might have already left the area before the purchase, but I feel as though the gator worked. It looks quite realistic and has a metal ring underneath so you can anchor it anywhere in your pond with a string and weight. I have moved it a couple of times to help fool the potential predators.

Bought to keep large heron off my screen pool enclosure-works great
From
FLRV of Gainsville, Florida on
3/8/2012 .
So far so good, keep large heron off screen pool encloseure. Bought Gator, Willy II, to keep a great blue heron and egrets from pooping on top of our pool sceen enclosure, (which then causes a huge mess on our pool cover). Although we love to watch the herons fishing in our pond, love was turning into a murderous rage after the 12th clean up this year-near weekly for past 2 yrs. We use night eyes, a red blinker that works at night, but not early in the morning or during the day. Have used electronic bird repeller, owl eyes ball, iridescent tape all over, motion alarms-NOTHING Worked-- But I saw an article on coy ponds stating that a decoy gator would do a good job, so far, Willy II has saved the day! We no longer have any large birds perching on the screen enclosure so it appears the 40-minute-pull-off-the-pool-cover, spray and brush the mess off (while mumbling unspeakable oaths) routine is over. The great herons and egrets now keep to the other side of the pond, where we can see them better anyway.
Heart Attack

After my wife walked past the koi pond and almost had a heart attack, she finally realized it was not a real gator. A daily visiting heron has not been seen since we put "Crunchy" in the pond. He is constantly moving with the slightist breeze. Thank-you-from us and our KOi.
