12/12/2015 – The Kerr web site says the 4x8 paver lights can be had with either a gray lens, or a tan lens. We have tan pavers, and have 20 paver lights to replace. How do we get the tan lenses?
Response From TJB-INC: You will have to order from Kerr. We only carry the clear lenes.
11/1/2015 – I wants put thIs like in my driveway me question is the glass hold my car weight I have a Tahoe if not tell me what kind light need?. Thanks
Response From TJB-INC: The lens is polycarbonate and will hold the weight of your vehicle.
5/6/2015 – I have about 40 driveway lights to replace and I think the Paver lights along the driveway edges would be very nice. I am concerned that water can get into the housing as sometimes there are heavy rains. Will water be a problem? If so can I seal them? I can see that they might be in a place where there is standing water for a day or two.
Response From TJB-INC: The lights are made to be self draining. The heat from the bulb will also dry out any moisture in the base when the light is on. The bulb sockets are sealed with Di-Electric grease available at any local auto parts store. This grease keeps air and moisture off the electrical connections between the bulb and socket. Essentially, the base could fill with water and the light will still work.
10/20/2013 – We have paver light lenses that need to be replaced. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, I'm guessing they are Kerr, they have grey bottoms & look the same. The lenses measure 7 1/2 X 3 1/2, I only see ones listed 4x8, would these be the same? do you carry them? If so, how much are they? we have 8 lights. Thank you
Response From TJB-INC: Yes, they sound like Kerr 4 x 8 Lights. Go to http://shop.tjb-inc.com/replacement-parts--bulbs-for-kerr-lighting-c119.aspx to answer the rest of your questions.
9/20/2012 – I am doing my front yard area and my back yard area. I want to buy in bulk the 4x7 5/8 boxes and the LED lights and lense cover and multiple transformers, (3-4) I think. I will be using the 12/2 wire as I have some 400 ft of pavers to put lights into. I would estimate about 80 box units. Can I get a discounted bulk price quote please including shipping to our home. 18920 State Route 9 Mount Vernon, WA 98274. My home phone is 360-232-4891.
Thank You
Lee J Kleve
Response From TJB-INC: These lights do not have LED bulbs in them. LED bulbs can be purchased on line at a site like www.LEDBulbs.com or something similar. The bulbs are a "T-5". Do you want a price on the units with the regular bulbs? Do you need a transformer as well? Have you ever installed low-voltage lighting? With a long run, there are several different ways to splice the lights into the power cable to balance load loss. You can call me direct if you want more detailed information. ... TED 203-287-0636
1/19/2012 – do you have colored bulbs? do they cost more then reguler ones.
Response From TJB-INC: We do not sell them. Try a local home center for the colored bulbs.
11/10/2011 – I have paver light covers that need to be replaced and are not quite 4x8. they are a little more like 3.75 by 7x75. is the 4x8 the correct replacement for this brick light? I don't have a name of what was installed 10 years ago, and only "made in Canada" and a patent number are on the plastic cover. Can you help please? Cindy
Response From TJB-INC: They sound like the 4" x 8" Kerr lights. If the base is gray, then they are the residential series. If the base is white, then they are commercial. Make sure you order the correct lens. They are not interchangeable.
10/1/2011 – HI,
I just installed the 8 paver system. Only the last 2 lights in the series are working.
What could be the problem?
Thanks!
Geoff
Response From TJB-INC: Hi Geoff, Sounds like a possible connection issue. Check the wire connections after the working lights. Or ... if you installed the lights and then recompacted the pavers, you could have damaged the light bulbs. Take a light bulb that you know works and put it into a non-work unit. Does the bulb light up, if yes, then you need a new bulb for that light. If the working bulb does not light up, then you have a connection issue. 9/11/2010 – We have a 12 year old set of Kerr Paver Lights in our driveway that we installed and we need replacement parts. Are the 4" x 8.5" lenses available? Are the matching 4 1/4" x 8 3/4" boxes available?
Response From TJB-INC: If the bases are white, you have the commercial 4 x 8. If you have the gray base, then you need the residential 4 x 8. We have the lenses for both.
8/17/2009 – Hi,
I intend to use 14-light residential kit.
I have a long wire run and may want to upgrade the transformer from 88w to 100w or 200w to add in more lights in the future. Do you allow to upgrade and how much more it will cost?
Thanks,
Tri.
Response From TJB-INC: I have modified the choices on the storefront to reflect an upgrade to 12/2 wire for high draw wire runs. All 14 pack kits now come with a 100 watt transformer.
6/17/2009 – I am looking for glass paver lights are these frosted glass or plastic?
Response From TJB-INC: These lights are plastic lenses. I will be adding Solar Glass Paver Lights in about 2 weeks
4/20/2009 – My walkway is already set. if i remove some bricks to install these lights, do i use sand or cement. do you have instructions for lifting old bricks and replacing with lights?
thanks
Response From TJB-INC: You would use the same polymuric sand that was used when the bricks were installed. It is available at any masonary supply yard in your area.
