Single Door XL Rigid Pigeon Live Trap

Our pigeon traps have trap doors that consist of a series of independent wire bobs mounted at an angle to entice pigeons into the trap. Bobs fall back into place after pigeons enter, trapping them inside. This is a repeating trap which will continue to catch pigeons as long as the trap is deployed. Captured pigeons act as an attractant to other pigeons not yet trapped. All of our pigeon traps feature a convenient release door to provide easy access to trapped birds.

Model 506 can catch and hold 30 or more pigeons at a time.

TRAPPING TIPS

For best results, pre-bait the area where you will be trapping for several days with grain, cereal, or a bait of your choice. After pigeons become familiar with the area, place your trap over the feed and apply additional bait in and around the trap doors. Make sure to place the majority of the bait inside the trap.

For hard to catch pigeons, it may be necessary to pre-bait the trap for a few days with door bobs tied open to allow pigeons to move freely in and out of the trap.
