Solar Cynergy Solar LED Paver Light – RSC100 4" Circular Solar LED- Blue
Your power bill for this product will be $0!
These LED solar pavers from Solar Cynergy embody the very best of 3 of the hottest technologies there are: • Solar • LED lighting, and • Ultra-capacitors to store the sun's power
NOTE: These LED's are the more expensive flat panel LED's (not the cheap round ones that show up as a point of light) which provide a nice even light without the "hot spots" that are common with round LED's.
They're so easy to use. No cords. No instructions. Completely self-contained. Just put them out in the sun to charge and they just work. They last a long time. We don't know how long they last (maybe 25 years,) but it's a long time, because they don't use batteries that wear out. They use Ultra-Capacitors to store power. These lights are IP 68 Certified! IP rated as "Dust-tight" & protected against complete, continuous submersion in water. • Light time: typically about 8 hours • Light requirement: exposure to sun—cloudy days are fine, but don't put them in shady spots. • For high latitude locations, we recommend the square or rectangular ones because they have 2 and 4 solar cells, respectively, versus the round one, which has one. • Rugged. You can drive over them with a big truck. • Waterproof, ice-proof polycarbonate housing won't ever rust. • Temperature range: anything found in nature. • 10 year manufacturer warranty. • No minimum quantity-buy as many as you like.

Great for LED accent lighting: • Around pools decks • Embedded in driveways • Embedded in sidewalks and other pathways • On patios or in concrete installatiions
Same size as most interlocking pavers 2 3/8" (60 mil). Can also be set in gravel, stonework, soil or deckwork. These are the only LED Paver lights that can be put into concrete applications because there is never any battery to change! (see instructions below)
This is a very nice, high-end LED accent lighting product. The quality is top of the line. If you're looking for something really distinctive to highlight your landscape, this is far superior to the other LED outdoor pavers we've tested and seen. For the longest lasting LED Paver Light, stay away from other battery-storage products. Batteries wear out. Even the best Lithium polymer batteries can't deliver after just a year. 365 charge/discharge cycles is more than they can bear. The Ultra-Capacitor used in these pavers don't ever get tired, like batteries, because charging and discharging a capacitor isn't a chemical reaction. It can go on forever with no care or maintenance from you.
Use in outdoor or indoor locations that receive sun much of the time. The small round ones are not recommended for high latitude areas, especially in partially shady areas. Use the squares or rectangles instead because the solar panels are larger and can provide a more thorough charge of the Ultra-Capacitor.
The unit will withstand submersion, but we do not recommend using them submerged in ponds or fountains because the water will reduce the light available to charge the unit. Also, the paver will NOT get hot, so it cannot burn off any algae growth that may occur if chlorine is not kept above around 1 part per million.

Instructions for Concrete Installation
When installing these lights into a poured concrete application, pre-wrap the top of light unit in a clear plastic kitchen wrap to prevent the concrete from adhering to the surface. When the concrete pour is wet, float the light fixture into the the concrete so the top of the lens is at the top of the pour. Because these lights can float, make sure to check the depth as the concrete dries making any necessary adjustments during this period. Once the concrete has dried/hardened, remove the exposed plastic wrap from the top of the lens. And left over wrap along the very edges by the concrete can be melted with a heat gun or similar device. Now you will have a perfect load-bearing installation.
Questions
How much sunshine is required to charge the Circular Solar LED Lights?
A: The Solar LEDs only need about 12,000 lux to charge and while the more sunlight they accumulate the better, they will still be charging during cloudy, or hazy conditions unlike other solar paver lights.
For reference: Direct Sunlight = 100,000 lux; Cloudy Day = 30,000 - 70,000 lux; Extremely Cloudy = 10,000 - 30,000 lux; Terrible Rainstorm Dark = 7,000 - 10,000 lux.
How bright are the lights?
A: Lumen output is approx 6.85 lumens and is comparable to your traditional low voltage accent/paver lighting.
